There is no official federal service dog registry. Private registration and ID products, including ours, are optional and do not by themselves establish legal status or access rights. Under the ADA, a service dog is a dog individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. ESAs are treated differently from service dogs, and rights vary by situation, such as housing versus public places. We make this clear so you can make informed decisions.
